So apparently I’ve been blogging for one year now.
*screams* *throws confetti* *flails* ADFJKL; I CAN’T BELIEVE I SURVIVED ONE YEAR AAAHHHHHHH.
Honestly, I don’t remember the exact day I started (the reason obviously being that I didn’t have a bullet journal back then 😉 ). I started the blog, then I didn’t like the design or my first post, so I redid it (classic me), buuut I’m pretty sure my very first post was the 22nd. The one I left on the blog is dated the 26th, and here —->is the link. (I can’t believe I just linked to that thing xP)
So all the celebration stuff here on the blog today! I also have a vlog at the end in which I throw confetti and answer your questions and ramble about unicorns and pizza.
77 public followers (from blogspot)
54 email followers (though I think half a dozen public followers switched when I moved)
15 bloglovin’ followers.
And you guys are all so awesome *hands out cups of unending gratitude* (unless you’re a hug person, in which I can definitely hand out hugs 😉 )
That’s a lot of talking going on xD
58 (59 with this one!) I remember I wrote seven a month in November and December last year, but now I’m down to about four a month. Considering the craziness of life, I think that’s good.
Fun Fact: I’ve been publishing posts regularly on Saturday mornings since last November. I haven’t changed it once, except for moving the time from 5am Pacific, to 2am, to 1am here (though the emails go out at 2am)
(with stats from blogspot)
I honestly have NO CLUE why the last one is so popular. (I’d love to know, though xD)
MY FAVORITE POSTS
Those also happen to be my FAVORITE types of posts to write. I guess you could call them inspirational, but I call them “thought dumps” because that’s what they really are xD
What’s ironic about these is that I’ve been petrified before publishing them. Friday night before I posted each of these, I was laying in bed asking myself why I planned that post and if it was too late to run down stairs, turn my computer on, and write a new one (spoiler alert: it was).
I’m hoping to do a lot more posts like this in my next year of blogging, as they’re all really close to my heart. There might not be any next month though because #nanowrimo (still don’t know if I’m doing it :P)
MOST AMAZING BLOGGING EXPERIENCE
MEETING OTHER WRITERS. Before I started a blog, I knew zero other writers, especially teen writers. Getting to know you all has been amazing. Also, READING YOU GUYS’ POSTS. It’s incredible what other bloggers write and how we’re able to share it with a few clicks on a screen (I sound so old-fashioned, I know). But connecting with you all and sharing posts and writing has been the most incredible experience in this past year.
BEST PART OF HAVING A BLOG
Having a central social media platform that revolves around writing 😊 Twitter and such are great, but blogging is the best way to be on the Internet. You can share your stuff, attract readers/friends who like what you like, and then go read their stuff and collaborate and encourage. Being a part of this incredible community is a huge blessing.

Nooo the post is over. BUT before you all leave, I want to say thank you….
–To my family, especially my mom, who encouraged me to start this blog last year. And my dad, my most faithful email follower!
